We serve families of all faiths and beliefs

From its inception, Mount Hope has strived to meet the needs of the community. We recognize the changing attitudes and needs of individuals and families; we are pleased to offer a wide range of burial options that align with the financial resources and personal preferences of all families.

Whether you prefer traditional ground burial, mausoleum entombment, or cremation, we have something that will fit your preference.

From traditional burial in single or family plots, inurnment within niches housed in our mausoleum for cremated remains, and mixed burials with both urns and caskets, we genuinely seek to assist you in finding the suitable location for you and the needs of your family.

Traditional Ground Burial

Traditional, casketed interment is a time-honored way to lay to rest a departed loved one. In-ground burial involves a casket and grave with a marker or headstone, as permitted in certain sections of the cemetery. Lots are available for upright or flush markers, slightly sloped or flat, amongst mature trees and hedges, small shrubs and dogwoods, or fields open to the sun.

Bronze Gardens

Our Bronze Gardens allow individuals to remember loved ones with a number of various, flat-surfaced Bronze memorials.

Monument Gardens

Our Monument Gardens offer the capacity for loved ones to be remembered with an upright marble or granite monument.

Heritage Gardens

Families looking to begin a lineage of shared familial burial may consider an estate garden plot of 8 or more burial spaces. The entire plot would be recognized by a substantial family marker, upright and easily recognized. The centrally located marker would bear the family name and be made of marble or granite.

Mausoleum Entombment

Our beautiful mausoleum offers interior or exterior options for full caskets or cremated remains. The Mausoleum also houses the Chapel, with a seating capacity of nearly two-hundred, and is available for committal services or for quiet reflection.

Single Crypts

A single crypt is designed for one individual; a bronze crypt plate is included.

True Companion Crypts

The True Companion Crypts provide space for two people to be entombed in the same crypt. The caskets are placed head-to-head and both people will be memorialized on a bronze crypt plate.

For those who choose the mausoleum for their burial preference, they will have the choice to use our state of the art chapel that is located inside of the mausoleum.

Whether the service is big or small, rest assure there is plenty of seating. There is room to accommodate 160 people in the chapel. For your convenience, we also have a piano and a sound system for any special music that you may want to include during a service.

Need Flowers?

Stop by our office, or simply call us by phone, and choose from any of the arrangements we have in our selection of artificial flower arrangements. Our staff will place the flowers on your loved one’s grave at no charge.

If we do not have what you have in mind, we will be happy to order such for you. Contact us at (843) 662-5145

Cremation Options

The cemetery also provides for in-ground burial of cremated remains. Lots can accommodate flush or raised markers.

Mount Hope offers Glass Front and Granite Front Cremation niches.

Personal Estate Columbaria allows for two, three, four, or more persons to be buried together in a unique and customizable way. The columbaria can then be placed in any of the monument gardens.

Ground Burial

There are many options that are also available for those who wish to use either our bronze or monument gardens for the burial of cremated remains.
